Welcome to the East Coast Naginata Federation!
Celebrating over 20 years of excellence in Naginata!
We are the ECNF, six professional dojos located throughout the east coast of the United States reaching from Puerto Rico, Maryland, Virginia, New Jersey and Massachusetts. We are dedicated to quality budo education, high ethical standards and firm attention to reiho in our instruction of the classical martial art of Naginata.
The East Coast Naginata Federation is a regional federation within the United States Naginata Federation (USNF) and member of the International Naginata Federation (INF).

Congratulations to our newly promoted shodans, Yinran “Jack” Huang and Jessica Wilson and nidans, Raphael Djinn and Julia Rycyna at the 2018 USNF National Event at Bryn Mawr College. At the 18th USNF National Championships, congratulations go to Axel Noorman 1st Place Men’s Yudansha Individuals Shiai for the 2nd time in a row!
ECNF takes 1st place (Trevor Won/Ahnika Emery) and 2nd place (Yinran Jack Huang/Austin Farnsworth) Dangai Engi. For 3rd place Dangai Women’s Individual (Marieta Soma) and 3rd place Dangai Men’s Individual (Yinran Jack Huang).
Youth division female individual 2nd place (Hope Djinn) and Youth division male individual 1st place (Raphael Djinn). Youth engi 2nd place (Raphael and Hope Djinn).
We extend congratulations to Rebecca Pomeroy and Emily Ewen for making it to the 2018 US Naginata Team for next year’s World’s Naginata Competition in Germany!
