Welcome to the East Coast Naginata Federation!
Celebrating over 20 years of excellence in Naginata!
We are the ECNF, seven professional dojos located throughout the east coast of the United States reaching from Puerto Rico, Maryland, Virginia, New Jersey and Massachusetts. We are dedicated to quality budo education, high ethical standards and firm attention to reiho in our instruction of the classical martial art of Naginata.

The East Coast Naginata Federation (ECNF) is a regional federation within the United States Naginata Federation (USNF) and member of the International Naginata Federation (INF).
With ECNF's continuing growth, we now offer several workshops and seminars to cater to our growing population of naginata-ka and practicioners-to-be as well. Please feel free to check our Calendar of Events for upcoming dates. Those practicing may also participate in several tournaments and seminars with our friends in the Canadian Naginata Federation (CNF) also listed in our Calendar of Events page.

Congratulations to Team US of the USNF at the World’s Naginata Championships in Wiesbaden, Germany 2019. Included in the Team are our own Emily Ewen (promoted to sandan), Rebecca Pomeroy and Jessica Espinosa. Congratulations also go to Emily Castner (promoted to shodan). We look forward to more members of ECNF to vie for positions on the next US Team in 4 years! Train hard Train smart!
